Attorney Jan Peter de Man received his Dutch law degree from Leiden University in 1985 and subsequently majored cum laude in tax law in 1988. He started out his career as a tax adviser with Loyens & Loeff and Price Waterhouse Coopers, where he provided national and international tax advice and was involved in mergers & acquisitions. In 1995 he set up as a self-employed lawyer and tax adviser and was admitted to the Bar one year later. He initially was a partner in the law firm of De Vree & De Man Advocaten, then became the sole proprietor of De Man Advocaten B.V., and finally joined Justion Advocaten as a partner, where he has since worked in the areas of Employment Law, Commercial Law, Property Law, the Law of Obligations (contracts), and Public Procurement Law
