Attorney Chris van de Merbel graduated in law from University Tilburg. During his studies, he focused on private law (contract law, commercial law & bankruptcy law). In 1995 he graduated on a thesis entitled "Companies in difficulty; legal tools to prevent the bankruptcy of small and medium-sized businesses".
Attorney Van De Merbel began his career as a court secretary at the Breda District Court and Tilburg Sub-District Court, and in 1996 moved on to become an attorney, gaining experience at several law firms. Eventually, in September 2006, he joined Justion Advocaten and has since practiced in the Law of Obligations (contracts), Insolvency Law, Employment Law, and Family Law.
